Our Warranty

ClassOne takes pride in providing its customers with the highest quality reconditioned equipment in the Semiconductor and Nanotechnology Industries.  All ClassOne reconditioned systems are supported with a 3 month warranty and 30 day right of return.

The following warranty applies to all equipment sold unless otherwise noted. Some systems are sold on an “as-is where-is” basis; these are clearly marked on the web page listing the system as well as on your invoice.  Below are ClassOne’s standard warranty terms and conditions:

Warranty Term:

  • ClassOne warrants equipment to the original purchaser and at the original point of installation to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 3 months from start-up or acceptance.
  • Warranty period shall begin upon start-up and acceptance, but this period will begin no later than four weeks after receipt at the customer site.
  • ClassOne includes a 30 day right of return with each system reconditioned by ClassOne Equipment (see below for Right of Return Policy terms).

Warranty Scope:

  • Equipment is guaranteed to meet or exceed all factory specifications.
  • Equipment is guaranteed to be in excellent condition upon installation at customer site.
  • ClassOne guarantees to replace parts which are determined to be defective within the warranty period.
  • Consumable items are not covered.
  • Replacement parts supplied under warranty may be new or remanufactured.
  • For any warranty repair or replacement, the customer is responsible for freight charges to and from ClassOne or ClassOne approved service center.
  • Repaired or replacement product will be warranted for 3 months after return receipt.
  • Return of defective parts may be required by ClassOne.
  • This warranty does not cover the cost incurred for the time and expense of a service representative to replace parts onsite at customer facility, if a service representative is required to perform such replacement or repair.
  • This warranty does not apply to failures caused by accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper shipping, acts of God or alterations and repairs not performed by ClassOne or its authorized representatives.
  • ClassOne shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product.
  • ClassOne technicians are available during normal business hours to provide support and assistance by telephone or email.  If the issue cannot be resolved via telephone or email ClassOne will send the required replacement part to customer site as quickly as possible.

Right of Return Policy:

  • If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the system.
  • In order to receive a full refund equipment must be returned complete and in full operational condition.
  • Refund is issued when ClassOne has confirmed system has been returned complete and in full operational condition.  Allow 2 weeks after return for refund.
  • Any shipping and packing/crating charges invoiced are not refunded.  If you received free shipping, you will not receive a full refund. We will credit the price of the equipment minus the actual shipping and handling costs.

Customer Responsibility:

  • Ensure that all personnel working with the equipment have been properly trained in its operation, and that all personnel follow at all times all applicable operating instructions and/or procedures contained in the operations manual.
  • Adhere to all safety information provided in the operations manual and all other applicable safety and site preparation information.
  • User must not remove, modify, obscure, or in any other way alter the content or readability of any safety labels or placards located on or inside the equipment.
