Summary

The Assistant Project Manager, Operations will support the VP of Operations to oversee the refurbishment of semiconductor manufacturing projects.  This person will also be responsible for a broad range of service functions that involves office administration, customer service, financial, training and continuous improvement. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

The functions of the Assistant Project Manager shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following:

  • Support in all aspects of Operations
  • Handle internal and external customer relations and inquiries in a prompt, accurate and professional manner
  • Set-up and review of daily assignments with our Technicians and Contractors
  • Proficient computer skills required as well as the ability to learn and utilize new programs. Extensive work with Microsoft, Google Apps, and internet based applications
  • Make sure needed parts, tools and equipment are adequate, equipment is maintained and office is organized
  • Tracking of various shipments and parts
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail  and organizational skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.
  • Organize department meetings and internal communications
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings, when necessary
  • Ability to thrive in a small business environment
  • other duties, as assigned

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 

The Assistant Project Manager has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

 

Qualifications:

·      In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

·      Must possess administrative and technical experience

·      Excellent communication and organizations skills

·      Must be able to multi-task and possess analytical and critical thinking skills

·      The ability to develop good working relationships both internally and externally (employees, customers and vendors)

·      College Degree preferred

Travel

Occasional travel may be required (10%)
